
Yvonne Blaszczyk is a seasoned board member and experienced executive with an extensive background in corporate management, strategy and governance, finance, human resources, legal compliance, and leading results-oriented change.
Yvonne has been serving for over a decade on the BMG Board of Directors while holding other positions, the Board of Directors of BMG Asset Management Group, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for mutual fund investments, and Trustee for the Restricted Share Holding Trust and previously as an Interim President & Chief Executive Officer, Vice President, HR & IT.
Yvonne has held senior positions in organizations such as CIBC, the Toronto Hospital, Royal LePage, The Permanent Trust, and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police – Pay Council under the Chairmanship of J. Paul Lordon, QC. She has served on the Pay Equity Hearings Tribunal as the Adjudicator. Over the last twenty years, Yvonne provided result-producing leadership to various financial and other sectors companies as a trusted counsel to CEOs and boards of directors managing change.
Yvonne has extensive board experience including President, Chair of the Board of Directors of the CCHRA, HRPO provincial and national; Ontario Service Safety Alliance (OSSA); Advisory Board on Pay Equity, Ontario Hospital Association (OHA); and also as a Consultant to the Canadian Human Rights Act Review Panel under Justice de Forest. She was a founding partner with The Globe and Mail of the National CEO Forum on HR issues and a founding partner of the HR Research Institute at York University and founder of The Gold Standard – Business Excellence Awards and Gala for CEOs. In addition, the editorial board of Who’s Who in Canadian Business has included Yvonne’s work in their editions.
