
Yvonne Blaszczyk has an extensive background in Human Resources Management and Board Governance. She is a recognized expert with over eighteen years of experience in all aspects of the field, with primary emphasis on compensation systems, job evaluation systems, legal compliance, strategy and governance, performance management and pay equity.
Yvonne has held senior human resources positions in organizations such as CIBC – Information Technology, Toronto Hospital, Royal LePage, The Permanent Trust, and RCMP Pay Council. She has served as a Pay Equity Hearings Tribunal-Adjudicator.
Yvonne has played major roles in several human resources organizations, including acting as President, Chair and member of the Board of Directors of the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario, and President and Chair of the Canadian Council of Human Resources Association. In 1991, Yvonne received the distinguished Fellow level of professional designation in recognition of her outstanding accomplishments and development of new practices in human resources management.
Yvonne has been involved with governance of numerous renowned organizations, including: Board of Directors, Ontario Service Safety Alliance (OSSA); Advisory Board on Pay Equity, Ontario Hospital Association (OHA); and the Canadian Human Rights Act Review Panel. She was a founding partner, with The Globe and Mail, of the National CEO Forum on HR issues, and Vice President, HR Research Institute, at York University. In addition, the editorial board of Who’s Who in Canadian Business has included Yvonne’s work in their editions.
