George Parrill has accumulated over four decades of executive experience with The Bank of Nova Scotia, including more than 30 years as a senior executive with ScotiaMocatta and Scotiabank’s bullion group, collaborating with numerous central banks. During his distinguished career, he specialized in commodities, risk management, and liquidity management within the bullion sector, as well as managing trading desks.
George Parrill has worked with mining companies, central banks, mutual funds, investor clients, and media. He also oversaw Scotiabank’s branch network needs related to bullion products. He is an expert in precious metals storage and custodial agreements for both bullion and funds. Most recently, George has served as a member of BMG Board of Directors for eight years.
