Christopher Ward is a seasoned expert in brand and business strategy. He has held senior marketing and executive positions in retail, manufacturing and management consulting companies. He has been directly responsible for the launch of three companies one of which grew through merger and acquisition to be a major player in electronic security for homes and businesses. He also founded and presided over the rapid growth of a successful custom publishing business that numbered among its clients some of North America’s largest organizations.
Chris has worked with numerous clients to develop powerful brands and business strategies including the University of Toronto, Seneca College, PwC Debt Solutions, BC Children’s Hospital, Global Sepsis Alliance, Catalyste+, Niagara Casinos, Tatham Engineering, AT&T, SOCAN, and Golf Canada (formerly the Royal Canadian Golf Association).
For the past 10 years he has been a member of BMG Management Services Inc. Independent Review Committee. As Entrepreneur In Residence at the Ivey Business School at Western University, Chris was a coach and mentor for teams of students engaged in consulting projects with private and public sector organizations. Previously, he was a Chair and Member of The Executive Committee, an international network of CEOs focused on improving their leadership abilities and achieving their professional and personal goals.
Chris was a director of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers and served on the Consumer Affairs & Communications Committee for Tarion, the new home warranty people. He was a founding director of the Myoblast for Muscular Dystrophy Foundation that supported research into a promising treatment for Muscular Dystrophy.
