After receiving a M.Sc. from the Technical University of Denmark, Helge Knudsen started his career in computers at Northern Europe University Computer Centre, where he managed operations and software.

After receiving a M.Sc. from the Technical University of Denmark, Helge Knudsen started his career in computers at Northern Europe University Computer Centre, where he managed operations and software. Helge went to the US on a post-doctoral fellowship at IBM’s Scientific Centre in Los Angeles and Development Centre in Santa Teresa. He later joined Amdahl, and rose to the position of Vice President of Software Development. After moving to Canada, Helge started a software company that conceived, created and brought to market the Huron Software Development System. Huron was subsequently used by 150 Fortune 500 companies all over the world.

Helge oversaw the development of BMG’s state-of-the-art bullion bars proprietary sales and custody management software. He continues to oversee the expansion of the company’s computer capabilities to meet the new demands of international growth and advanced security.
